Brody is TWO!!!

On July 1st Brody turned two years old! I can hardly believe how fast those two years went by. I also can't believe how much he has grown and changed in those two years. His personality is showing more and more everyday. 

And let me tell you, he has a BIG personality!

The day before his birthday we had a small family party with cake and ice cream. I made a car cake of course because Brody is obsessed with cars. He loved blowing out the candles:)

He got a lot of fun presents. He is one spoiled boy:)

Here are some things that Brody is doing right now:

- as I mentioned, he LOVES cars, planes tractors, trucks, etc. 

- he knows a lot of his shapes

- he thinks every color is "gween"

- he loves to give hugs. He calls them "ugs"

- he sleeps in a toddler bed 

- he is very good at saying "thank you"

- he still loves to dance

- every drink is called water

- he loves to play in the water! He's our brave little fish. 

- he says "I stuck" a lot. 

- he is very talented at building things with blocks and Legos. He's also very particular about where each block goes and makes it the same on each side. 

- he knows where his baby sister is:) in mommy's tummy. 

- he asks if I'm "okay" if I'm upset, crying, or throwing up. He also says "okay" after he falls or gets hurt to let us know that he's okay. 

- he loves "corn" which is popcorn. 

- when he wakes up in the morning or from a nap he knocks on his door and says "where are you?" Until I open his door. 

- he loves wearing hats and hardly ever goes outside without putting his on. 

I could go on and on...

We love him so much and feel so blessed to be able to be his parents.

* looking back at his previous head measurement it looks like he's finally starting to grow into it. Haha. Slowly...but surely.
