Father's Day Weekend at the Ranch

This year Jordan's family's turn to be at their ranch fell on Father's Day weekend. So we packed up and headed to Star Valley, Wyoming. We were looking forward to getting away from these hotter than hot temperatures to a little cooler weather. It's always so nice there, and so pretty I might add:) it does get really cold at night though. We always end up packing for both warm and cold weather. One day my sis in law changed like four times! Haha. All of the family were there (except for one bro in law, Jeremy).

Just relaxing and spending time with each other. 

There is a lot of water on their property (a pond and a small lake or bigger pond) so we were keeping a close eye on Brody. Even though we were very persistent at keeping him away, he still managed to end up in the pond. Luckily, I was running after him and was able to catch him right before his head went under. That water is freezing cold!!! By the look on his face you could tell that he knew that now too. Haha. Of course he was fully clothed in jeans, his only sweatshirt, and tennis shoes. Good thing we are able to do laundry there! I stripped him down to nothing. He then immediately ran into the woods and fell down, scratching him all over the front of his body. This kid is crazy! Maybe he just wanted that nice warm bath that he got afterwards.

This is Brody and jordan on Father's Day! Jordan is wearing the tie that Brody decorated for him. Don't know what we would do without jordan! He's such an amazing dad! Brody and I love him so much!

Here is a closer view of the tie that I took previously. Brody loved coloring it! It was even his idea to put his hand on it. 

We always have so much fun at the ranch! Can't wait til next year!
