Sew nice!

I have been wanting a sewing machine for a very long time. I think Jordan has been wishing I had one too...so his pants would get patched better:) We were finally able to get me one as a memory of Grandma and Grandpa Cornell. Grandma helped me learn how to sew. She was an amazing seamstress!

My friend is having a baby girl and so I thought, "hey, I can sew her something!" So I went "shopping" in my mom's fabric stash and found stuff to make a baby blanket. I had just enough time to finish it before her baby shower...

I learned a lot about my sewing machine and fixed some of the "glitches" that were just a consequence of me not knowing how to set all the knobs and settings correctly.

Brody was a great blanket tester:)
He approved.

Now what?....Next Project!:)
