We had the opportunity to participate in a relay for life. We walked for an hour each in memory of Jenna (jordan's sister) who passed away from cancer. It was a really neat experience to see everyone walking. Some were even cancer survivors. People walked all night...to show that cancer never sleeps. My sister in law Erika was the one who put it on for our group. She spent the night there and everything! She is amazing! It was just a really good time to reflect on Jenna's life and the good that she did and is still doing on the other side! We miss her very much but know that she is busy and happy now:)
Even Brody "walked" with us. He is sick but he was a trooper for his aunt Jenna!
Jenna sacrificed four years of her life to cancer...all we sacrificed was one hour of our day. Talk about a reality check. All of those who have, or are, suffering from cancer, I don't know how you do it! You are amazing!
That is special! Body is such a cutie in these pictures...despite being sick! Tell him we have a little something for him when he comes to the great state of Idaho...happy birthday!
